Roark couldn’t believe his ears. He’d been thinking how sexy she looked tonight, how much the alpha in him wanted to pull off her clothes and take her in the car, on the table, and now here on the sofa. The full moon intensified his longings, but his desire for Eden was all his. He’d tried so hard to be a gentleman to make sure he didn’t scare her away. To let her make the first move.

And she had. His intuition hadn’t been wrong. She did want him.

Roark groaned and quickly slipped his arms around her. He didn’t ask if she was sure, her alluring eyes told him all he wanted to know and all his senses were on overload. His other needs could wait. His desire for her couldn’t. His whole body felt aflame as he pulled her into his embrace and lowered his head over hers. Her lips trembled beneath his, but she quickly wound her arms around his neck pulling up closer to him.

He deepened the kiss and growled softly. His lips moved down her neck and he lightly scraped her tender throat with his teeth, careful not to nibble too hard. The wolf in him demanded more, but he wanted this to last as long as possible, to give her the ultimate loving. Her hands slipped from his neck and down over his back.

When she started stroking in sensual circles, he knew it would be hard not to take her right there in the living room. He pulled back his head to look down at her and into eyes that were glazed with desire. Roark knew he didn’t need to ask her permission to make love to her. It showed in her heated eyes, reflecting the intensity of her desire, a craving that matched his own.

“Third room down the hall,” she told him urgently, breathlessly.

He scooped her up in his arms and made quick strides to the bedroom. He didn’t bother closing the door, but headed straight for the large bed. He was thankful it was king-sized. They’d be all over it tonight.

Roark half lay over her as he rained kisses down the base of her throat then once more closed his mouth over hers. He kissed her deep and long, loving the way she stroked his body and eagerly pulled off his shirt. He let her do what she wanted, knowing it was the best way for her to open up to him, make her receptive to his own desires. He wanted her to be pleased. Tonight was more about her. It would be one long night and worth it all when he could tell her honestly how much he’d always desired her delicious body.

He helped her finish taking off his shirt and unbelting his pants. He tossed them away then pressed her back down against the bed. “Let me look at you, Eden.”

She gasped at his words, but nodded slowly. He tried to be gentle, but her actions and his craving were getting the better of him.
